RFQ checklist for a treatment plant quote

Send these details and we can give a real scheme and budget range, instead of a chain of questions.

The short list

Flow: Average and peak flow in cubic metres per day, hours of operation, and expected growth. For sewage: population or occupancy.
Source and water analysis: Wastewater or raw-water analysis from a recognised lab: pH, TSS, COD, BOD, oil and grease, TDS, and any specific pollutants. For industry: what the process discharges and in what batches.
Treated water target: The discharge standard you must meet, or the reuse quality you want (flushing, cooling, boiler, process, irrigation).
Site: Available land and its shape, levels and slope, existing tanks or civil work, soil or groundwater issues.
Utilities: Power available and its quality, water for backwash and cleaning, and whether a generator or solar is planned.
Scope: Supply only, supply with supervision, turnkey with civil work, or engineering documents only. Include any consultant specification.
Commercial: Location, target delivery date, and who the final owner and operator will be.

If you do not have all of it

Common questions

Do I need a lab report before contacting you?

No. A first scheme can be based on flow and a description of the source. A lab report is needed before we fix the design.

Is the first scheme chargeable?

No. The preliminary scheme and budget range are given against the enquiry, so you can compare options.

What if the consultant already has a specification?

Send it. We design and document to it, or tell you early where it does not match your water data.
