Biological media

MBBR media (biofilm carriers): Plastic carriers that hold the biofilm in moving bed reactors. Read the detailed guide.
Fill and packing media: Structured and random packing for trickling filters, biofilters, scrubbers and cooling tower fill, made of PVC or polypropylene.

Tube settler and lamella media: Inclined tube modules and plates placed in clarifiers to add settling area, so a smaller tank can clarify the same flow.

Filter sand, gravel, anthracite and garnet: Graded layers for pressure and gravity filters, selected by effective size and uniformity.
Multigrade filter media: Layered media for deeper solids holding and longer filter runs.
Activated carbon: Granular carbon for removal of organics, chlorine, colour and odour, in coconut shell, coal or wood-based forms.
Iron and manganese removal media: Catalytic media that oxidise and filter iron and manganese from borewell water.

Membranes: MBR, UF, NF and RO membranes, in hollow-fibre, flat-sheet and spiral-wound forms, selected to the feed water and duty.
