KEE E-STP replaces bacteria with electricity — an electrochemical treatment module in one container. Switch on, and reuse-grade water flows the same day. Stop for a month, restart in an hour. A third of the footprint, no operator skill — for sites where a conventional STP keeps failing or will not fit.
A conventional STP is a living thing: it needs 3–4 weeks to grow biomass, steady feed to keep it alive, and someone who understands it. Resorts with weekend peaks, event venues, construction and labour camps, seasonal hostels, basements with no room and sites with no trained operator break biological plants again and again — the biomass starves, dies or washes out, and the outlet fails.
The KEE E-STP has no biology to protect. Treatment is electrochemical and physical, sized by engineering — not by how happy the bacteria are. It starts in two hours, stops without harm, and restarts at the flick of a switch. The price is electricity, and we tell you that number before you buy.
| Model | Capacity | Process module | Footprint incl. tanks* | Connected load | Energy | Start-up |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| E-5 | 5 KLD | 3.0 × 2.0 m skid | ~12 m² | 3 kW | ~43 kWh/day | < 2 h |
| E-10 | 10 KLD | 10-ft container or 4 × 2.2 m skid | ~20 m² | 5 kW | ~85 kWh/day | < 2 h |
| E-25 | 25 KLD | 20-ft container | ~40 m² | 11 kW | ~205 kWh/day | < 2 h |
| E-50 | 50 KLD | 20-ft container + external tanks | ~65 m² | 22 kW | ~400 kWh/day | on request |
*Equalisation and treated-water tanks in HDPE alongside; underground tanks cut the above-ground footprint by half. Design inlet: BOD 250, COD 450, TSS 300 mg/L domestic sewage.
For domestic sewage within design inlet values: BOD < 30 mg/L · COD < 100 mg/L · TSS < 20 mg/L · faecal coliform nil · clear, odourless — reuse grade for flushing, landscaping and cooling-tower make-up. Ammonia is reduced 40–60 %; where NH₄-N below 10 mg/L is required we add oxidation capacity as an option. Every unit is tuned to your sewage during a three-week commissioning programme and then locked; performance is verified by a 30-day guarantee test.
We sell both. The E-STP is not cheaper to run — it is simpler, faster and smaller. If your flow is steady and you have space and an operator, buy the MBBR from us. If not, this is the plant that will actually work.

|---|---|---|
| Time to treated water | ~2 hours | 3–4 weeks |
| Intermittent / seasonal use | No problem | Biomass dies |
| Footprint (10 KLD) | ~20 m² | ~50–60 m² |

| Electricity | 7–9 kWh/m³ | 0.8–1.2 kWh/m³ |
| Consumable | Electrode cassette, periodic (under AMC) | Chemicals, media top-up |
| Running cost (10 KLD) | ~₹100–115/m³ | ~₹25–40/m³ |

Design for your inlet → factory-built skid or container, tested before dispatch → installation on your plinth → three-week commissioning with lab verification → 30-day guarantee test → O&M manual and an AMC covering consumables and monitoring. Engineering documentation to the same standard as our large plants.
The plant is factory-built, tested, and needs only a plinth, power and sewer connection. Because it uses electrochemistry instead of bacteria, it produces treated water within about two hours of switch-on — there is no 3–4 week biological seeding and stabilisation, and it can be stopped and started at will.
Through electrochemical processes that remove solids and organics and disinfect the water, followed by physical polishing. The process is proven in published research and in commercial units worldwide; the design and operating settings are KEE's engineering.
For domestic sewage within design inlet values: BOD below 30 mg/L, COD below 100 mg/L, TSS below 20 mg/L, faecal coliform nil — suitable for flushing, landscaping and cooling make-up under CPHEEO reuse guidelines.
Honestly, more electricity than a biological plant: about 7–9 kWh per m³ (a 10 KLD unit uses ~85 kWh a day) plus periodic electrode cassette replacement under AMC. Total roughly ₹100–115 per m³ against ₹25–40 for MBBR. The trade-off is zero biology, zero start-up, minimal skill and a third of the space.
Sites with intermittent or seasonal flow (resorts, event venues, construction and labour camps, weekend homes), basements and tight plots, places without a trained operator, and anyone whose biological STP keeps dying. For steady flows above ~30 KLD a conventional MBBR/MBR is cheaper — we will tell you which side you are on.
E-10 (10 KLD) fits a 10-ft container or a 4 × 2.2 m skid, with a 4 m³ equalisation tank and 3 m³ treated-water tank alongside — about 20 m² in all, or ~10 m² above ground if tanks go underground.
6–8 weeks to dispatch for E-5/E-10, 8–10 weeks for E-25, one week to install, treated water on day one, guarantee test after 30 days of steady run.
Send capacity, site type and usage pattern — we reply with model, footprint, power, running cost and price within one working day, and we will tell you honestly if a conventional STP suits you better.
